About Me

David has worked in the investment industry since 2000 and holds Series 7 and 63 securities licenses.  

Highly active in his community, David has served three two-year terms on the Habitat for Humanity board of directors, eight years on the Cookeville Rescue Mission board, and seven years on the Cookeville Regional Medical Center board of trustees (chairman of the board in 2015).  David has attended several legislative events, including the Certificate of Need hearings on the addition of eight surgery suites. 

David also served as chairman of the Planning Committee, Quality Committee on Patient Care, Finance Committee, and was a member of the Strategic Planning Committee as well as headed up several ad hoc committees concentrated in patient centric issues and resolve.  

Additionally, David served three years on the Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundation board of directors and was instrumental in the establishment of the Art for Healing initiative located within the walls of the hospital.

David and his wife, Lori, have been happily married for 37 years and have two grown children and two grandchildren, Lucy and Owen.  David and Lori attend Life Church in Cookeville, Tennessee.  David earned a degree from the University of Tennessee – Go, Vols!  In his spare time, he enjoys mountain biking, road riding, motorcycling, studying history, and gardening.
